Consciousness Club Tokyo
Consciousness Club is a study group once every two weeks based in Tokyo, led by Ryota Kanai of Araya, to encourage transdisciplinary discussions beyond traditional academic boundaries and to find creative, new approaches towards the understanding of consciousness. The topics discussed span across philosophy, neuroscience, artificial intelligence, complex systems, computer science, robotics and more.

Araya is an innovative Tokyo-based startup that applies novel findings in academic research to solving real-world problems. As part of its business, Araya provides consultancy services for analyzing medical and human behavioral data in various contexts. In a long term, Araya aims to develop neuroinformatic industry by synthesizing new ideas from research into the design of artificial general intelligence.
